According to EVANS NGOMA, the founder of Buy ZED, the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development’s empowerment grants would increase Zambia’s competitiveness in creating goods for both domestic and international markets.
Since then, Mr. NGOMA, so claims, has persuaded businesses to spend money on machinery that could increase their capacity for output.
He was speaking today in LUSAKA during an interview with ZNBC News.
In the meantime, Mr. NGOMA has urged the government to hasten road development and rehabilitation in remote areas in order to spur investment.
He claimed that trade and commerce depend on a reliable road system.
