Corporate Affairs & Stakeholder Relations Group Executive Hired by MultiChoice Africa

Dr. Keabetswe Modimoeng has been named as MultiChoice Africa’s Group Executive for Corporate Affairs and Stakeholder Relations, effective January 2023, according to an announcement from the organization. Dr. Modimoeng will be a member of the Multichoice Africa Executive Team and will answer to Collen Dlamini (Group Executive Corporate Affairs).

Dr. Modimoeng served as the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa’s former executive chairman (ICASA). The historic radio frequency spectrum auction in 2022, which was generally hailed as a crucial structural economic change to increase competitiveness in the South African economy, was one of his accomplishments at ICASA.

“Kea is a seasoned leader with over 15 years’ experience in corporate communications, stakeholder relations, government and regulatory affairs. He will play a key role in helping us to navigate the challenging and complex communication, stakeholder and regulatory landscape across 49 countries outside South Africa. We are truly excited to have him onboard and wish him great success.” said Fhulu Badugela, Multichoice Africa Holdings CEO.

He has a PhD in Management Sciences from Durban University of Technology and an MBA with the best dissertation award from Regent Business School. He also finished the Harvard Kennedy School’s Senior Executive Fellows program and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School’s Executive Development Program.
