17 individuals Bitten by Stray dog in Mtendere, Lusaka

In Mtendere Township in Lusaka, a stray dog has bit SEVENTEEN people.

The victims, who range in age from four to forty, reported being bitten by a black dog on many occasions on Thursday between 18:30 and 21:30.

The reports, according to police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale, come from the Mtendere B, C, and D divisions.

He claimed that police personnel are already searching the area for the same stray dog with the intention of killing it.

According to a report of a dog bite that the Mtendere Compound police received, 17 persons claimed that a stray dog had bitten them.

Mr. Mwale pleaded with residents of Mtendere Township to keep an eye out for the same dog.
