Infrastructure projects sponsored by Constituency Development should adhere to the minimum building standards, according to Minister of Communication and Media CHUSHI KASANDA.

The government, according to Ms. KASANDA, a Chisamba Member of Parliament, will not commission subpar infrastructure.

When the minister spoke, she was touring a dormitory at Mulungushi Secondary School, a neighborhood undertaking that was still under construction.

According to Ms. KASANDA, the government would not allow money to be spent on infrastructure that could endanger citizens or won’t hold up over time.

Moreover, CHOTA NGULUBE, the district planning officer for Chisamba Town Council, reported that the local authority has begun educating the populace about the standards that must be met when building infrastructure.
