According to RODNEY SIKUMBA, minister of tourism, the government will encourage entrepreneurship to boost the economy.
This, according to Mr. SIKUMBA, is because boosting local firms’ production is the most enduring approach to generate wealth and end poverty.
However, Mr. SIKUMBA claims that the government is concerned that just 10% of businesses in the nation have access to bank loans, compared to an average of 20% in the sub-Saharan area.
At the Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank’s (ZICB) Livingstone Branch’s official opening, he said this.
